Welcome to EVS! We’re an independent audio project on a mission to capture the true sounds of our planet before they disappear.

Between traffic, construction, and city hustle, noise pollution is drowning out the world’s most unique sounds. We travel around to record everything from quiet nature spaces to old, forgotten machinery, packing them into high-quality sound bundles for your projects.

Emilia Voortman

Hi, I’m Emilia! My obsession with audio started at the Dutch Film Academy, where I studied Sound Design and fell head over heels for collecting sounds.

There is so much beauty in the way the world sounds—like the exact moment you can hear winter turning into summer just by how the birds and wind change. Because I love wildlife and nature so much, I started EVS to capture and share those delicate, beautiful sounds before they are lost or forgotten.

We are just getting started, but the library is growing every day. When I’m not chasing wild audio for our bundles, I work as a production sound recordist. So if you need a recordist on set, feel free to reach out.
